Is it ok if a truck I’m going to buy is from Canada?

I found a truck i wanted for a good price and went into the dealership to test drive it. Wasn’t until much later in the process of buying it that they told me they had to change the odometer from kilometers to miles so it shows an odometer “correction” on the title. Wasn’t told anything about why but had to look up the vin number myself and the truck is from Canada. I forgot the exact kilometers but it was around 12k km when it was in Canada and the listed miles is right under 10k. Is it still a good deal or am I better off looking elsewhere? It’s pretty crappy that dealerships won’t tell you this information until you’re already made up your mind to buy the thing.

not much difference between US and Canada trucks.  headlights may be automatic.  Otherwise there is no reason for concern.

We don't know a thing about said truck. Unless you at least provide the make, model, and year of the truck we could possibly tell whether or not a prospective truck has a digital odometer, etc.

As long as the correct mileage is entered into the new speedometer it's any easy fix, hurts no one.

Year/make model/trim and price needed for anything more specific.

Scotty has mentioned several times that vehicles in Canada cost more. Those who live there can explain you better why is it so.
