Hello, I’ve had been wondering about changing the transmission fluid on my 2014 Nissan Rogue. I haven’t changed it all since I got it back in 2016 with 10,500 miles on it. It has around 130,000 miles on the odometer. I’m not sure what I should do because I don’t want to end up damaging my transmission. Many people say not to change it because it’s too late or they say to change it and I’ll be fine. I’m not sure what I should do step by step. Please if you guys have any suggestions that would be greatly appreciated. I hope you guys can help me out. Thanks.

What’s the present condition of the CVT fluid? Can you check it?

Hello, I appreciate your feedback InThrustWeThrust. I will let you know the fluid condition once I get my car back from the body shop. Thanks.

I would leave it alone often. It will start to slip if you've never changed it and then change it at that mileage

Oh okay, Thank you for your feedback Scotty, do you think changing it when it starts to change will damage it even more? There should not be any issues correct? I have the feeling of changing it now so I won't have to worry in the future about it. Please let me know. Thanks.
