Have you seen this Scotty?

Pretty shocking move from Toyota. Are they offering to buy back the vehicle due to the loose wheels, or is there something more sinister going on behind the scenes?

Well as I always said don't buy something that's brand new even from Toyota

Who knows:  Toyota is not going to tell Scotty or anyone else.

It’s always best to sit out vehicles that get launched for a new generation especially when it’s an all-new platform like BEV.  Let the early adopters and others beta test for the rest of us.

This is Toyota’s Modus Operandi. When the Lexus brand first came out, there was something wrong with their cars. I can’t remember what.  I don’t even think it was that big an issue. Toyota bent over backwards on the first batch of models, on any little thing. And despite these early challenges, Lexus became a brand known for quality.

On big momental moments like a new brand, or a totally new technology, you bet Toyota corporate will bend over backwards.

TBH, I don’t understand why it would have such a problem, because it seems most of the car is stock parts except the electric motor and battery. But who knows!!!
