It is possible to change a turbo on a RB25DET engine without draining the coolant and oil systems?

Reason is to avoid the coolant air bleeding process, where many noobs lose their engines.

I really don't want to see overheating and struggle to get the air out of the block, or the turbo lines exploding i've heard.

I would:

1. Not recommend that

2. Not attempt to change the turbo as a DIY'er unless you are EXTREMELY experienced.

This procedure needs to be done the correct way. Trying any shortcut will cause more harm than good, including catastrophic failure.

A tech rarely ever did the right thing, and they were all retarded about clutch problems with the adjustment.

The only success at a dealer i had was the injectors and rotors, alignment, and wheel work.

Have you tried finding a good independent mechanic in your area? You want one that knows how to work on those cars, but there should be someone at least relatively close. I'd check into that instead of the dealer.
