I was thinking of buying a 1990 Mazda Miata na for my birthday and start to make it my project car, I was thinking of makig it a drift car because thats what im very interested in
what should I look out for? obviously these cars are used but what are the common problems with these cars?

These cars are solid built cars, easy to work on and hopefully you get a manual transmission. with that said, it is also a very old car and you Should probably handle lots of things before driving it.
Well, … Miata chassis is very flexible. Add to this rust and it may not be a very good, … lasting drifter.
Anyway, … make sure you get a solid chassis. Rest, … simple. Bolt on, … bolt off. Lots of donor Miatas around. Many interchangeable parts with NB cars. Lots of aftermarket parts, too …
