Is this 2009 Lexus IS250 worth keeping?

I’m in need of a car. I was gifted a 2009 Lexus IS 250 RWD. It has an automatic transmission and about 144,000 miles on it. The car was sitting for 4 months without being driven or turned on. I’m about $800 in already with towing and getting inside the car. Now I am no car expert, but here’s what I can say about the car so far:

The motor runs well and the car is definitely drivable, but I am pretty sure it has electrical problems as the speedometer, power steering, AC, and radio don’t work. About every light is on in the vehicle, including check engine. While idle, the rev line is bouncing and the car stalled twice on me while driving around.

My question is after $800 spent, do I keep the car and fix it, or do I sell it and buy something else? I absolutely need a car.

If I were you, I'd unload that thing as fast as you could. Lexus is generally don't have problems like that unless they've been wrecked flooded or had electrical shorts from idiots working on the ones who have ruined

things inside

Jeez, what a gift!  Be sure to thank whomever gave you that rolling pile of a rat’s nest.

Get rid of it.  Seems like a money pit, now.
