- Scotty! What's your thoughts about a 1999 Oldsman Bravdo? I honestly had never heard of this make/ model but from self research it seems simmilar to a Chevy Trailblazer. Carfax looks okay, but the low price and miles seems a bit too good to be true. Just over 65,000 miles and all they want is $5,990? That $5,990 is also before I negotiate or possibly trade something with them. I'm not going to lie, the interior seems imaculate. It's a V6 all wheel drive. It did have two owners and the title still apears clean. Should I consider further investigating this or should I run like someone would with a chrysler🤣. Thanks. I love your videos.Â
It's an oldsmobile bravada. And yes, same as the blazer
Those cars are literally worth nothing. Oldsmobile died out a long time ago and while it may be similar to the Blazer, it has nowhere NEAR the following or parts support.

It might be ok as a knock around vehicle but the price would have to be $1000 or less. For $3000 to $4000, you can get a NICE Trailblazer with leather, sunroof, and plenty of aftermarket support. I'd go that route first.
it's just a plain old GM.
4.3L Vortec engine. 4L60e transmission.
There are TONS of parts available very cheaply
I do see these here and there for 5 to 6 grand. I wouldn't pay it, but I saw one with 35k miles for 6k online.
True @mountainmanjoe. I was thinking more on the interior trim, etc. Driveline parts are simple enough. I just can't see spending $6k for it. Maybe I'm cheap. Lol.
You would think most parts interchange with the Trailblazer which was very popular, but I could be wrong. Rockauto lists a lot of trim parts for the 99 Bravada.
$6k is def too much.
Hmmm. Well, you learn something every day. Thanks for the info. 🙂
look at that, I taught a GM engineer something {black}:laughingoutloud:
Well I haven't had to RockAuto many parts for Oldsmobiles. {black}
Too overpriced
I would pass. Too old, AWD. The asking price is too high too.
Oldsmobile, 22 years old, too much

The seller got the decimal point in the wrong place. Sounds more like a $500 vehicle to me.
I'd say it's worth around $1200 if it runs well and test drives OK.
Nicely built vehicles and rather luxurious for their time. However, that's way too much for a 22 year old Oldsmobile. See if you can get it for... 2-3K, assuming it's in great condition. Always get it checked by a mechanic.
