I am trying to help my friend fix his jeep. It turns over but doesn't start. He needs the car for his medical appointments. I am trying to help him. As he is an elderly person.
Can someone help? He does state some has tried to cut wires from his jeep but not too sure. Also some parts were taken out as well. Including ac compressor. He doesn't have a lot of money. So I'm trying to diy it for him.
See the FAQ for information on troubleshooting starting problems and let us know if you need additional assistance.
We can give you pointers but we'd need to know the year of the Jeep and which engine is in it.
Watch some of the videos in the FAQ on "Crank, No Start"
https://carkiller.com/scottykilmer/qa/nostart/
and check for Spark and then for Fuel. (The videos will show you how to do that) and then come back to this thread with the year/engine information and your results of the spark/fuel tests and we'll walk you through the next steps to figure this out
