Hello! I just bought a 2002 Toyota Echo that burns .25 to .5 litres of oil a month
Is there an oil or oil treatment I can use . . . or do you have any suggestions besides selling the car? It runs like a new car and I couldn't just sell it in good conscience. . .
Thank you,
cbgb
Hello,
Unfortunately there is no quick fix for a worn engine, you don't say what the mileage is.
I would recommend you check the breather system and ensure its not blocked.
I include a video from the man himself for you information.

‘Don’t forget to vote my answer’, seriously mate?! While you’re at it, you might as well ask people to like & subscribe.
The vote system is there for a reason, UP or Down Pal, If you don't like it.
I agree with DVKALA on checking the breather system. But if you have confirmed it is burning oil due to wear you can try "Restore". I can't guarantee that it would work but it is worth a shot. It seemed to work for this guy.
