It’s got 100,000 miles and only minor problems, nothing serious. I really like the car the way it is but I’ve been told by many people i can sell it for much more than what I payed for. (I payed $1200 for it). I’ll be glad to hold on to it if only I knew how long it would last. That’s my only concern about it’s longevity. Thank you.
Hard to tell how long it would last without seeing/testing it. It's not a brand that's known for reliability, more for performance.
Sounds like you got a good deal on the Mitsubishi. That model is pretty rare. Go look autotrader.com and you can probably see a few comparable cars in your area are going for (or at least what the ASKING price is.)
That's a pretty good buy for 1200. If it was taken care of, those things can easily go 200,000+ miles. Those engines didn't have the huge oil burning problems that era of Mitsus are known for. Take care of it and hope the previous owners did the same.
