Keep old or buy 2022?

I'm the second owner of a 1.2 liter (65 hp) naturally aspirated 2004 Volkswagen Polo (still have the paperwork and service records).

The car is in very good condition for its age. There have been a few issues with it so far; of course; yet nothing too dramatic.

The car sits at 121;000 original miles. Original engine. Still running like a clock.

However; over the past month or so I've been thinking about buying a new car (Kia; VW or Skoda).

Is it worth upgrading to a 2022 m.y. before my Polo starts having major issues or should I drive it until "the wheels fall off"?

Thanks a lot.

Do you have 20 grand burning a hole in your pocket? Are you in need of an upgrade? it's your own personal preference.

If it stills runs and drives ok with zero issues, I would keep it until the wheels fall off. The price of new cars these days are very expensive.

Hold on what you have with this crazy market.

Keep it.

Honestly just keep driving it as they are well made and good in Europe specifically. If u rlly want to upgrade and get the bells and whistles go for a VW or Skoda, but not a Hyundai and Kia since their latest cars are not very good.

Assuming you’re in Europe (from your EU plate), keep it & drive it till the wheels fall off.

Plus, VW parts are cheap over there.
