Hey scottie I'm looking for a reliable car that's gonna last me a long time. Do you think that the new 2023 kia forte gt will be a good reliable car or should I look at something else?

One of the worst cars in existence.

Also rated as one of the least reliable cars out there.
The previous generation Forte, the YD, was quite alright - but the new BD is just flat out BAD.
The DCT Dual Clutch Transmission on the GT and the iVT Continuously Variable Transmission on the GT-Line are pure crap.
Also the GT's 1.6T-GDi is known to be not great.
They have decided to not sell their trusty old 6 speed automatic on the US market in this generation.
