- I purchased a 2011 Lexus IS250C with 55,000 mi on it. The brakes squeal at low speed stops. Researching online groups on this model resulted in this being a normal condition. I don't think that is true. I can't find a Haynes manual for this car. Where should I start?

They likely have ceramic pads. This means that yes, the squealing is normal. It is the price you pay for better braking with a sports car.
Moving to quieter pads will likely not only decrease braking performance but also increase the amount of brake dust on your rims.

Try Akebono brake pads. No squeal.
