Before this problem occurs, the car used to crank and start after 3-4 cranks.

Check the oil level. How is the battery?

oil level is good.
the battery charge was less after cranking it so many times.
i charged the battery now, still no cranks

Make sure the battery is good.

I will try replacing the battery and check

Check you battery, Alternator and connections first. Low voltage can throw alot of codes for multiple sensors. Bad Crank sensor would cause that. When car is cold does it start, if shut off and try to start again will it fire up or not .. If not you will have to checking harness and wiring. But I would first check battery, wires and alternator. You might just have a low voltage situation

If fires up when cold or after sitting along periods but doesn't after running or when warm it's most likely the crank position sensor

In cold the car takes 3-4 cranks to start-up,
after that, if you shut it off, and crank again, it will start.

i will check the wiring and alternator then

if the car starts, it works fine
but it doesn't start after sitting for more than 6-8 hours

When Crank sensor is bad they do tend to start when cold but car won't start the next time unless it sits

It's possible you can have a fueling issue. It can even be a maf. Crank sensor arent to much money you could always try and pray it works. Crank no start are very difficult to diagnose over a phone
