Car won't start after running for some minutes

My 2008 Honda Fit has 93k miles but it won't start again right away after running for approximately 40 minutes and stopping; you have to wait around 20 minutes before it can start again. For as long as the engine is running, it can operate flawlessly if you don't shut it down. It inconveniently affects town driving.
What may be the problem for me here?

Try putting the throttle at wide open when you start the car if it cranks but doesn't start. Your car is pretty old, with not too many miles on it, which means it probably sits a lot. Fuel injectors could be leaky, and you holding the throttle wide open tells the ECU to not let more fuel into the engine. If it starts, run some fuel injector cleaner through the engine. Scotty recommends ATS 505 fuel injector cleaner.

You resolve it by looking up the code and its various causes and troubleshooting those potential issues until you locate the fault.
