So unfortunately I have to buy a new vehicle as my old one broke down. I’m considering a 2015 Lexus NX 200t f sport AWD or a 2014 Lexus RX 350 f sport AWD. The mileage is great on both. Any thoughts on which way to go? Both were made in Japan.

If you value longevity, go with the NA in the RX350.

With that said, go with the one that’s in better shape and only if it passes a thorough pre purchase inspection, performed by a professional mechanic, before purchase.

All the best!

Just realize it’s a fairly new turbocharged engine with 3 thermostats (more complexity) and won’t last as long as a naturally aspirated engine - assuming you wanted to keep for a very long time and rack up the miles well past 150,000 miles.  Therefore, it’s a safer bet to go for the Lexus RX350 with the true and tried naturally aspirated V6 for longevity over the Lexus NX.

Definitely gonna go with the RX 350. You had me at tried and true haha Thanks for the additional info. That really helped.
