My Car: 1999 Audi A6 1.8T
mileage: 250,000 km
Hi Scotty and Team,
Issue: The plastic connector on the MAF sensor broke and wasn't showing any airflow on the MAF sensor, I got a new connector and rewired them (correct sequence) and I am having the same problem. Is there a fuse for the MAF sensor or any way I can test it (with a multimeter)?
Good news. New wiring and a couple of fuses later, the MAF sensor is working. Thank god I didn't resort to buying a new MAF sensor.
Cost of Repair:
$1 - Fuse
$6 - Connector

Update: @yaser thanks for the diagram. Looks like I have a blown-out fuse in that section, the fuse diagram that was on the car simply said control unit. Will replace it tomorrow and keep you guys updated.
@chumpbucket911 You're welcome. Good luck and keep us posted.
The sensor itself is faulty. Change it.
Is there a way to confirm this? I would rather confirm this before forking up cash to buy a new sensor.
Here is fuse diagram for your car:
It seems fuse#34 is for the MAF sensor.
