MAF Sensor Spike & Engine Tick

2007 F150 5.4L FX4, 290,000 KMs (180,XXX miles), Automatic, 4x4, DTC codes P0420 & P0430.

I may definitley need to get my cats replaced, but I'm inquiring about an odd tick in the engine bay. At operating temperature; I graphed my MAF sensor (g/s) and it will bounces around at 5.50-6.00 for around 10 seconds, then drops to under 5.00 for a few seconds then spike close to 6.95 with an audible tick sound coming from around the engine bay (I think). I haven't brought it to my mechanic yet, but was wondering what it was and if it is something I could fix myself.

Best,

Marcus

Well you said your video on private so I can't hear it. But if you got a big ticking noise then all bets are off on the math sense of reading. Cuz of the engine is running incorrectly. All kinds of weird stuff can happen. Let me have sensor. Will often give a dad as an engine's warming up but you'd have to get that tick noise fixed first France. Something like a bad lifter and not more serious problem

Sorry. Video now set to public.
