Hi, my uncle just bought a 2013 mitsubishi lancer with 320,000km on it. It also happens to have a jetco cvt trans which is original to the car. Has a new motor with 160,000km. What should he do for maitnence to keep it going?
When was the last time the CVT transmission fluid change was done? Otherwise, see below and pray a lot.

Normally, for CVT especially on those I would go very aggressive every 30,000 miles BUT I do not know the history of yours being that it is nearly 200,000 miles! And I have no idea when it was last changed, so let me know. What does the fluid look like? Is it currently shifting fine?
Keep up on oil changes and transmission fluid changes as both Mitsubishi engines and Jacto transmissions are weak. Check your owners manual for more maintenance intervals.
