Hello scotty, my names Alex and I own a 2010 Ford fusion sl sadan. My transmission had a slipping issue about a year ago. I got the transmission reworked and it was fine after until about 2 months ago and now stutters again. I think it might be the mount but I wanted your professional opinion on what the issue might be.
I'd think if the mount was bad you'd hear some banging around rather than experience slipping or stuttering. It's very common for transmissions to be rebuilt incorrectly (about 1/3 of them overall according to Scotty). Is it still covered by the rebuilder's warranty?
It's still covered by the warranty but I only have about 2 or 3 months left on it.
Have them check it out. If it happens that you do have a bad transmission mount it should take them all of about 60 seconds to find that. (Even if so I doubt that a bad mount would have that effect.)

You have internal transmission issue. Take it back to the shop that did the job.
