I have a 2004 mini cooper that is standard and the drivers window keeps getting stuck. I heard this happens to many mini coopers but not sure whether I should get a knew motor for it or like put grease on it. I saw a vid of a man knocking the side of the car to pull it down which works strangely. The passenger one works perfectly though.

I'd start with replacing the window regulator with a good quality new one. Problems with this car tho are going to continue to grow... sry to tell you...
