Today I have an issue with my ae110 sprinter vintage with 5A-Fe engine. My steering is hard from the very beginning which is from 15 years back when I bought the car. Now I want to solve this issue. I have changed power steering rack, changed the pipe, serviced the big pipe & most importantly changed the power steering motor 10 times. My steering is still stiff and a sound of wining comes from the power steering motor after the pipe got leaked and I changed it. I have drove cars of old model which has a very easy power steering. Now my question is how can I solve this problem? Thank you.
Well, if the pump is whining either the pump isn't performing right or the rack itself has restrictions in it or one of the hoses is bent and has a restriction in it. It's very hard to pinpoint something like that and you said it's been kind of stuff even since it's been new. So maybe some of the lions weren't bent or weren't routed correctly and got meant
