Hi, I have a weird problem with my 2007 Nissan Sentra SE-R Spec V, 2.5 liter 4 cylinder, 6 speed manual trans.
It runs perfectly normal until it gets completely warmed up. I mean like 30 minutes of driving. Then it starts losing power. Really only notice it while accelerating or going up a steep hill.
I think it has something to do with heat because it happens much sooner in the summer than it does in cold weather.
It's not showing any codes. And I replaced the MAF sensor. Shooting in the dark.
One other thing, don't know if it could be related. It needs a new exhaust, it's basically running out of the exhaust manifold. But it did this before the exhaust let go.
Thanks, Bob S.
More often than not replacing the fuel pump and the fuel filter fixes that pray it's not the computer going out is the heats up and shorts out
I would definitely fix the exhaust as well lack of back pressure and large exhaust leaks like that will only ruin your engine
