I recently purchased brand new Toyota Sienna 2022 AWD CVT XLE. After 100 miles driving, I started to feel it pulling to left slightly. It just might need minor adjust to turn steering wheel to left. The pulling is not that bad but I feel little understeering when I turn steering wheel to right. I am not sure what is the issue, is it because I am over sensitive, or is it comment on AWD? Because I used have brand new Honda CRV 5 years ago, and start feeling the same after driving 50 miles.
If there is some issues on the car, what could be? Steering system, alignment or suspension?
Dumb question, do you live in a LHD or RHD environment?
Could be a tire problem. If not unidirectional tread the front tires could be swapped to see if it starts pulling to the right. Or it could the alignment is off. Really though on a car that new you should not have to mess with it yourself, get the dealer to fix it.
Dealership agree to help to fix, and today they only swapped the front ties, but not check on alignment machine, and let me drive more to see. I think it might need thrust alignment.
Check your cold tyre pressures. If they’re all normal, take it in to have it aligned.
cold pressure is Front R-39 L-38, Rear R39 L-41 now
Right, pressures aren’t your issue then. Take it in to the dealer & have them diagnose it (under warranty).
(unrelated) Isn't that a bit high? Double check your door jamb sticker. I suspect pressure should be closer to 32psi.
Those psi readings are way too high. Maybe somebody inflated them to the max. pressure on the tire sidewall instead of looking at the door jamb decal.
When you take it back to the dealer and they look right at you and say, "That's normal" or "we couldn't find anything wrong with it" Be prepared to either demand they fix it or give you your money back.
that happened when I back to Honda dealership for my last CRV. I think if this issue can't be fixed after third visit, I am qualified to the Lemon Law? But hate to take few hours to go to the dealership for each appointment.
Depends on your state law. You need to do some research before going back to the dealer. Forewarned is forearmed.
