Why would the new trucks have rear drum brakes? Any thoughts on that?
Also doesn't seem as easy to change the oil! Why an element oil filter?
Thanks Scotty you've been so helpful in your videos!

Keep in mind that semi trucks use drum brakes too. 🙂
The rear brake hardly do any of the stopping work, so they don't get nearly as hot as the front. That's another reason (discs run cooler). The rear brakes are mostly there to act as a rudder.

Because, drum brakes provide more braking surface area than discs. More surface means more breaking capability. What could be easier than replacing an oil filter element?
