2008 Hyundai Tucson GLS 4-spd auto:
When I shift the transmission into neutral, the exterior lights dim for a moment and the radio power-cycles. There's a rattling (sparking?) sound as well that goes away when I shift out of neutral. The vehicle operates fine in Drive. This just started last night. Any ideas on what could be happening?

Just a WAG, but maybe you have a short in your shifter?

Have the codes read, see if spark issue. Go from there. May need plugs tune up, lot of options.
