2009 Toyota Sienna, 130,000 miles. FWD.

Check engine light came on, pulled the code, it’s an O2 censor (P0031)

the Toyota brand is $250.00

the rock auto special is $50.00

is it worth an extra 200 bucks for the Toyota brand censor ?

I need hardcore convincing if it is.

Just make sure you buy a denso Oxygen sensor it doesn't matter who is selling it to you Toyota doesn't make them they buy them from denso too but do not buy a non-den so on e

I usually go for the brand that Toyota uses. In this case, it’s most likely Denso.

I posted a question about a plastic cover a minute ago. I couldn’t figure out how to put in a pic to my question how did you do that?

Upload the pic to imgur, then share the link here.

You could buy the off brand, and then buy the OEM when the off brand doesn't work.

02 sensors are finicky. OEM for you is a Denso sensor. If you can find it somewhere other than Toyota for less, go for it. But stick to the OEM brand.
