Hi Scotty, I recently purchased a 2007 Ford Ranger. 2 Door, 2wd, with the 2.3L 4 Cylinder and the 4-speed automatic transmission. I bought the truck from a farmer who hardly used it, so it only has 40,000 original miles on it. My hope is to drive this truck for the next 20 years, but I am concerned about my oil seals. Should I be using high mileage oil given it’s age and little use? Should I be concerned about my seals rotting?

Modern seals are actually better made I wouldn't worry about it just use normal oil and change it frequently
