Opinion on remanufactured wheels

Hi,

I have a 2018 Camry XSE with a cracked wheel. OEM wheels are ridiculously expensive so i was shopping for alternatives. There's a lot of aftermarket but one thing that interested me was a remanufactured OEM wheel on ebay. Do you have any opinion on remanufactured wheels and if they will get the job done? If not, are the cheaper aftermarket any good?

Thank you

By aftermarket, I assume you mean aftermarket but looks same right? If so I would get the aftermarket, as long as the part number matches you will be good. Dealer tax is a real thing so it's like 500+ for the OEM right? The aftermarket that looks similar is the same wheel essentially out of the same factory. Wheels are basically all forged or cast in a lot of the same factories, unless specifically said so. For way cheaper. Only downside is that everything is slightly translated so you may end up with a different wheel you'd have to ship back haha. I highly caution remanufactured, unless the reviews and research says otherwise, it's usually not worth it imo.

Thank you much for your input. I will go with the replica because you are right on the nose with that price estimate for the oem

I would not trust remanufactured from eBay.

Stay the hell away from a remanufactured wheel!

If you’re trying to save bucks, look at junkyards for your exact wheel, from an identical wrecked Camry.
