oxidized paint and some clear coat peeling

I have a 2017 Silver Kia Soul with only about 40k miles. I live in Nevada with severe sun. The paint is oxidizing and a few patches of clear coat is starting to peel. How can I get rid of this? What can I do on my own, products, etc to make it look good again?

How can I get rid of this?

Strip off the bad paint and repaint the affected panels.

Nothing much unless you have the requisite painting skills.

The only way to "fix" that is stripping it down and repainting it. You need a professional body guy who knows what he's doing.

You should've waxed your car every two or three months. My stepdad had a 1999 Chevy Cavalier. He waxed it obsessively every 3 months until it hydroplaned and wrecked it in 2013. It had 256k miles on it when he wrecked it, and it still looked like a fairly new car because of the constant waxing.

Wax keeps the clear coat supple, and it more easily resists cracking and peeling when subjected to excessive amounts of heat and sun. It's actually in your owner's manual regarding paint care.
