I have a 2006 Nissan Sentra 1.8 S AUtomatic. I recently buy good condition, no rust, no accident with 65k miles.  I have a engine code p0448.  I have took it to mechanic, did a smoke did, and he had changed the control valve.  After next day code appear back.

Anyone knows a good mechanic in NYC, queens, or Long Island or can recommend any to fix issue ? Been searching online and YouTube but still stuck.

That sounds like more of a circuit code than a evap leak. The best way to diagnose that is with the use of a scan tool that can active test the valve open and closed and that would eliminate the harness or valve but if you don’t have that ability I would say give power and ground to the valve and if it operates the. Start working your way back through the harness verifying power and ground circuits are ok

I doubt if there any honest mechanics in New York City. But really if you have some kind of a vacuum making it runs okay doesn't really hurt anything. Only to fix it you're going to need a good mechanic with a smoke machine and a deal at level scan tool to do bi-directional testing and that's not cheap
