Hi Scotty I own a 2002 dodge stratus se V6 automatic 167500mi
I was driving into a 40mph zone so I rolled down on the throttle about 4k rpm and there’s was a delay before it shift down.
Then my dash board lit up and my speedometer and tachometer froze so I pulled over to read the codes P1698. But the dash hasn’t freak out again so far. I payed $400 for the car. The day before that the PCM was reset because I pulled the battery cable off to replace the blower motor as specified in the repair manual

odds are the transmission control module has gone bad a computer part or the wiring between it and the main computer have gone bad very typical on those poorly made Dodge's
