Hello community! I have a 2012 Dodge Charger v6 with 135k miles. I have the codes P2096 and P2098. I have already replaced both fuel pumps, I have replaced PCV Valve, air intake gaskets, spark plugs, Air filters, I have checked for vacuum leaks and there’s non. When I changed the fuel pumps the codes went away for like 1,000 miles then came back. What could this possibly be? Some people tell me i should change all oxygen sensors. Is this a good guess? Or is it something more sinister? I just want to fix the car make sure it no longer has the codes so I can sell it. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks Guys!

Did you change fuel filter?

Need to reset the error code to see if it returns. Resets might not happen by themselves so you keep seeing old codes.

@jimz
Yes I reset it. And the fuel filter is within the fuel pump I already replaced

Did you put an OEM fuel pump?

You should pressure test the fuel pump to make sure it is running properly.

Check for exhaust leaks all the way from the exhaust manifolds to the tailpipe.

Check the wiring/connectors  on your O2 sensors
