My 2008 Prius with 260000 KMS, recently giving me 650kms on a full tank compare to more than 750kms before. What may be the reason for drop in fuel efficiency? and also it makes louder engine noise than before when gas pedal is floored ?

As they age, the hybid system efficiency goes down. You can try obvious stuff: change the spark plugs, air filter, clean the injectors. If they did not help, odds are that the hybrid system is not as efficient as it was new.
Have you checked your battery ? the lead-acid one in the trunk ? If it is operating below efficiency that could lead to weird computer issues. Installing a new one with a higher Cold Cranking Amps could work.
The car is 14 years old, chances are your hybrid battery pack is weak and the engine has to work harder to make up the difference.
