Short answer is no I would stay away.

Long answer is absolutely not. Everything will start to go and you'll be dumping money either every month or every ok there month. On average they only last to 215,000 miles.

The timing alone will cost you 1500 to 2,000  (estimated ).  Does it have air suspension , if yes was it ever replaced if no then you'll get stuck doing doing it.

These cars leak as they get older, they have transmission problems, issues with cooling system, ignition issues and loose of power when accelerating. There are a lot more issues but only listed a few. My main concern is the timing and air suspension ( if your has air suspension )I looked up a generic total to repair and it can be up to 8,000 total estimated. That price is based of averages through out the country. The area you live cost of parts used will effect the price. If cheaper parts are used and shop has low rates it can be around 5250,00.

Echoing what others have said, maintaining a Range Rover (especially a used one) is going to be an expensive proposition.   Nothing will be cheap to repair or replace, either in parts or labor.  And chances are the vehicle will need quite a bit of attention on a regular basis.   Land Rover is just not known for long-term reliability.

Of course, you do you.  If you are comfortable with the expenses and other issues you will likely face, that's your call.  Myself, I would pass.

Sounds like the tip of the iceberg... no way. How do you know thats the only thing?

No one in their right mind should buy that Range Rover.

Suggestion:

in "https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Range_Rover"

do read the section "Range Rover, according to AutoTrader..."

just above "References".

A sad message there (in line with previous postings), but I would like the car too.

Curious what TS will do...
