hi scotty I'm having this rattling noise in my jeep compass that I can't seem to locate, but I know it's in the engine bay, the rattling usually happens when I start the car and it goes away once I start driving, and it comes back when I slow down or come to a complete stop while it's in drive. please help

You should find where the rattle comes from. It might be your timing chain tensioner or might be something else. Have a mechanic check it.
I had a couple mechanics check it and they can't seem to find the where it's coming from.
Well, find a good mechanic. If you can't, Scotty has some videos on how to find noise in car that you can watch and do the diagnosis yourself.
