😀 Scotty,
1985 S-15 gmc 2.5 engine. Have the old code system, pre 96 model. Have replaced coil, plugs, map sensor. Don’t know exact mileage. Truck starts, dies instantly. Runs real rich. Motor shakes real bad sometimes when motor dies. Have yet to replace egr valve, which was one code. Have cleaned egr valve. No vacuums leaks detected. THANK You, Tom

Well lots of things can do that but if the EGR valve is sticking open that would definitely do it so you might as well to start there
