Scotty, (really everyone), I’ve been working in a shop for a couple months now and I want to buy my own OBD scanner and get away from the shops. I need it to do a couple things but in particular, I need it to reset electronic steering when I perform alignments. I haven’t the need to do high level stuff yet but I’m sure it will come along. I was looking at a couple, one in particular is the Matco MaxLite but I don’t want a subscription based scanner either, like Snap-On. Suggestions? My budget is about $2000.
