I have a 2016 Scion iM with 83k miles. My AC stopped working recently. I checked that the compressor is spinning. Then I connected an AC gauge like your video said. It measured 110psi on both high and low ports. I guess the compressor isn't working even though it spins? Don't know what to do. Replacing compressor is a huge expense. What should I do?
Take it to an AC professional before you mess it up.
Sounds like your AC needs a refrigerant recharge. If the compressor sounds fine I would try a recharge before replacing it.
How should I do recharge? Remove all coolant and refill or just put in a little bit and see if it helps?
