Scotty, I have a 09 Ford F-250 FX4 w/72k miles, when I accelerate I get a ticking noise that seems to be coming from the rear right side. Any ideas?

You probably have a exhaust manifold leak. On acceleration, pressure will increase in the exhaust and will make any leaks louder. But knowing what engine is in it will also help us try and diagnose your problem.
