Hi Scotty,
this might seem obvious, but none of the online sellers have answered this for me 100 percent.
I need new shock absorbers, however I don’t have any of the kits to compress and uncompress the shock absorbers to the coil spring, so I’d have to take mine off as an assembly and take it to the shop, as well as the new shock, to compress it with my old spring.
ive seen a few ads online where they’re selling the shock absorbers as a complete kit with the photo or ad showing the shock absorber compressed to a new coil spring.
if I buy this and assuming the seller ships it in the compressed state, is it just a simple bolt on for me to install, without needing to get anything compressed? I know this might sound obvious, but none of the online sellers are listing the ‘straight bolt on’ as an advantage. I ask them if this is the case, they answer but don’t mention anything about how it’s shipped and whether it’s a straight bolt on. The shocks are not gas charged or anything like that.
Any information much appreciated, have been watching your videos for more than a decade, hello from Australia!

@chucktobias thanks for that video yes that’s what I meant, quick struts. I’ll be sure the ones I find are OEM and will do some research.
