Hi Scotty, I am thinking of buying a used 2006 highlander, it is the Limited trim with the 3.3 v6 and FWD, it has 182000 miles on it with no mechanical problems, but it does have some cosmetic issues and the back bumper is broken+ a small crack in the front windshield. I plan on using it for road trips mostly. What do you think I good price for it will be? I will be buying it from a friend ( they offered me 4500$) do you think I should buy it? ( I am also considered about gas prices)
I would not buy that car. Because,
First, I don't buy cars from a friend.
Second, the price is too high.
What do you think is a good price for it? Also the hood paint is lightly pealing with dots of rust.

Maybe $2000 tops if it checks out OK by a mechanic. It's 17 years old and approaching 200K miles.
