2003 Honda Accord 2.4l (176,500m) Automatic Transmission (P0420 - unrelated)
Scotty! I got a 2003 Honda Accord with 176k+ on the dash. I inherited it from my grandpa and the auto trans fluid has never been changed. Sounds bad but the car still shifts good, what's your experience with high mileage Hondas and neglected transmissions, I just saw your video of the '04 Accord where you changed the external filter along with the old fluid. Do you think it's too far gone to change the fluid or would fresh fluid and a new filter suffice? Or would leaving the fluid alone and just changing the external filter be best at this point? Whats your take? Thanks Scotty you're the man!

Change the fluid and filter. To be on the safe side save the old fluid incase you need to put it back in.
