Hey Scottie! Thank You for the great videos you're making on YouTube.

I just Bought a 2020 Skoda Octavia 1.5 Turbo with 150hp Automatic from a private person who bought this car from Skoda back in 2020/03. it has 25,500 miles.
in the Skoda official garage shop we saw that there is some oil wetness around the Oil Seperator and they changed it to a new one. is it normal to change the oil Seperator after 25,000 miles+?
should I check the Turbo System better? they didn't saw any leaks from the turbo or engine, just the wetness around the oil Seperator.

Thanks in Advance,

Matan

Hey skodas, aren't that great cars. They often have seapage in different places and that doesn't surprise me. Gaskets are bad a lot of times they just use silicone glue and said and you got to do it over. But if it's not dripping on the ground I really wouldn't worry about it

Hey Scotty!

Thank You for the fast response!
Do you recommend adding BG K44 Platinum to refuels every 5000+- miles?

Also, do you recommend using full synthetic oils? Mine is currently 0w20...

Scotty only answers questions once and doesn't revisit them. Your other questions are answered in the FAQs .
