I'm thinking of getting a 2005 Toyota Avalon Limited with about 200k miles and in pretty good shape with some minor issues for $4500. I've been told that this car will run until I'm bored with it which is comforting but I wonder about that v6. Advice and thoughts are appreciated.

Those V6 engines are bulletproof if maintained. However, I wouldn’t buy one at that mileage because they’re may be issues that the seller may hide. $4500 is slightly expensive for that car, but I’d strongly encourage that you get a trusty mechanic to check it out before purchase or you can go to Autozone which will scan the computer for free. If the seller refuses, then find a different one.
