Ticking sound in the engine after replacing spark plug

Audi a4 1.8t 2011, mileage(113,710miles) auto

Just had to replace my old spark plug cause of a really bad shacking while at idle and a cylinder 2 missfire (P0302) (only happened once). It did solve the issue, but now I’m starting to hear ticking sound somewhere in the engine. ticks when engine is starting to warn up. i don’t really know where but i have a video link is just at the bottom. My car is also idling weirdly. Im not sure how to explain, but i suspect the shacking is connected to the deep popping sound in my exhaust. Car shakes bit when the exhaust pops. Its not constant pops. Its not a bad shacking only alittle shacking. Car does drives properly no issue. Im just anxious about the ticking and deep popping sound in my exhaust. This issue only shows when idling. I cant notice it while driving

Troubleshoots i did was, gapping it to .28 and tightened it properly. Fitted coils properly. Oil at a proper level. With the deep popping sound in my exhaust i have not done any diagnostics as I’m not sure what it is causing it.

Well numero uno I would take the sparks plug out at least one of them , and compared to the old plucks because if the plug is actually too long it could be hitting the valves or the piston. But if not that you got some kind of serious internal engine failure. Which Audis are known for a realized that particular engine is known to be one of the worst engines Audi ever made as they age

Thanks for the response Scotty. I’m gonna try to change the spark plugs. I tried to do a compression test and results are all good.

An .028" gap sounds way too small.  It should be something closer to .040".  Check your specifications.  Make sure to use your VIN when buying plugs to get the proper size and heat range.

I tried to gap it to 0.33” but I’m gonna try to change the spark plugs. Thanks for the response
