I bought the best Michelen tires that Costco had, like 610.00.

Kelly Edge tires are decent budget tires if a set fits your Civic. They're bottom shelf Goodyear tires and made in the USA. Douglas at Walmart are also bottom shelf Goodyear, made in USA as well. I'Ve seen a lot of those Goodyear Viva tires from Walmart as well.

Thanks!

I usually just go to Costco, and get whatever brand is on sale that fits my car.  Usually it is either Bridgestone or Michelins.

Hercules Tires are excellent tires. Been in business since 1952 founded in Findley, OH, and most of their tires are made in the USA. I just installed a set of their Roadtour 855 SPE tires on my 04 Subaru Forester for $461.11 and I'm very satisfied. http://www.herculestire.com

@danedaddy TY there is a Dealer by my house!

You're welcome. My dealer offers lifetime tire rotations at no extra charge so ask about that.

I have Douglas on the front and Hercules on the back of my van. Both are 45000 mile tires and are fine. No problems with them. I only drive 5000 a year so 45 is quite a while.

I just ordered a set of Pirelli Cinturato P7 All Season Plus II from tirerack.com a few hours ago for my 2013 Camry. Even if you don’t wind up ordering tires from there, it’s a really good site to use as a research tool. They actually road test each tire, then rate it’s performance in several different conditions like wet, dry, snow, etc. They’re kinda like Consumer Reports but just for tires.

Their prices are pretty similar to most tire shops, sometimes a little more, sometimes a little less, and just like most tire stores, they tend to have some kind of special deals or rebates on certain brands at different times of year.

I know what it’s like to only have a certain amount of money to spend on a big purchase like tires. Something that I just recently discovered is there are ways to set up payment plans through PayPal or Affirmed. I wound up using the PayPal plan so I didn’t wipe out the little savings I have.

Hope this helps and good luck!

Whatever tires you can get with the best warranty for the least amount of money.  If you go online to places like Discount Tire, you can compare price to warranty.
