- Hey Scotty! I bought a 2010 rav4 Limited; went with 4cyl and 2wd following your suggestion to save money in the long run. I am the second owner and I don’t know if the transmission oil has been changed (it sure doesn’t look pink anymore). I bought it at 104k, now it has 105k. Is it safe to change the transmission oil or is it too late?

I would change the transmission fluid and filter now. Then you'll know it's been done and when.
