Hi I live in Toronto and have a 2013 Honda civic automatic with 120,000km I wanted to know what aftermarket brake pads and rotors should be most durable?

Rotor brands won't be as easy to tell which is the best, because they are just a big hunk of metal. Some others may chime in with favorites.

As for brake pads, I like, as does Scotty, Akebono brake pads. They do really well and are gentle on your rotors, they won't warp them as easily as some others do.

The civic has a great selection of brake pads, Rock auto marks the asp series of Akebono as high performance. I have used these and the standard act series and been happy with both. I used them on my GX470 because they were a more heavy duty version, and I towed quite a bit. So far I have been happy with both, and no warped rotors yet, although before I started using akebono pads, I warped a lot of rotors.

rotors seem to always a crapshoot.

Pick up a $20 pair of digital calipers, and before you take the rotors home from the store, do a quick check. Take a measurement at several spots all the way around to make sure it's an even thickness.
