Major oil leak in my 2022 Toyota 4Runner

Hey Scotty, I bought a new 2022 4runner last February and after 5k miles it developed a major oil leak. After 3 failed attempts it appears the dealer has finally solved the problem by redoing the timing cover seal (first 3 attempts included oil cooler seal, upper oil pan seal and “it’s just residual oil”).  I hate the idea that my brand new Toyota engine was partially disassembled in a repair shop vs. brand new from the factory. It also concerns me that it took 4 attempts to repair and only due to my persistence did they act. Would you be concerned about the quality of this repair job or just not worry? I had planned to keep the vehicle for a long time (huge Toyota fan). Thanks!

Clearly the factory QA isn't great to begin with

I don't think any good will come from worrying. Just keep an eye on it.

I would be concerned from a reliability standpoint but it is still under warranty with the repairs being done at the dealer, provided they were performed at the dealer.

They used all new seal.

Also on a side note, what's the lemon law in your state? Might want to research that.

I have a family member who purchased a vehicle that was "returned" by the original owner, The car was a true lemon. Had miss fires, and random shutters. This was after they had purchased it. The dealer replaced the fuel pump, the coils, the plugs, and a few sensors.  20k miles later (with only 40k total miles on vehicle) the transmission had a catastrophic breakdown on the highway.

Luckily it was a CPO and the dealer did all the work for free. Including a new transmission. But it was a nightmare to deal with - as they kept having to go to dealer and the dealer kept giving them random fixes. Each fix would cause 3 to 4 days of down time.  Total waste of time, including the near accident that occurred when they broke down in the middle of the highway.
